After two decades of building and launching products inside startups and billion-dollar healthcare organizations, I kept seeing the same pattern.
Founders were surrounded by ideas, advice, and noise—but stuck on execution. Product strategy felt disconnected from what it actually takes to get something into the hands of customers. And too often, “consulting” meant a polished slide deck with no path to implementation.

I launched WellSage Consulting to change that.
We work with healthtech and biotech startups at inflection points—when you're raising, launching, expanding, or just trying to figure out if what you're building is the right thing at all. Our approach is built around ARC³, a five-step system that brings clarity, structure, and real-world traction to early-stage teams. It’s not about handing over a framework. It’s about helping you use it.
About me
I’m Evan Cox, Founder of WellSage. Over the last 20+ years, I’ve led strategy, product, and growth initiatives at companies like WebMD, Definitive Healthcare, and iSpecimen, and advised a number of early-stage health startups.

I’ve helped teams go from first pitch deck to first customer, launched products that generated nine-figure revenue impact, and built go-to-market strategies that actually scale.
But what’s been most fulfilling has always been working directly with founders—helping them simplify complexity, clarify the path ahead, and move faster with more confidence.
If you’re an operator trying to cut through the noise, I’d love to connect.
